Andrew Robins – Managing Director

Andy is a chartered builder and building engineer, with over 20 years’ extensive building experience. He qualified initially with a first-class honours degree in construction management, from the University of Westminster, spending the formative years of his career working on high-quality build and refurbishment in London’s West End and City. He remains very much involved daily, ensuring that the service delivered to clients meets their expectations. Andy is very keen on fitness: he is currently training to complete the southwest-coast path walk (Minehead to Poole) with his two sons in July 2010 – setting a target of 28 days to complete all 630 miles.

Nigel Davis – Estimator

Nigel has long played a lead role in Snibor, with his professional pedigree and superb knowledge of building technology and quantity-surveying. He provides enthusiasm, innovation and trust, as well as showing great empathy for prospective clients who may not have walked the build path before. A connoisseur of red wine and French-style tabac, his Somerset origins seem somewhat misplaced. Nigel is often spotted drinking good black coffee around mid morning.

Sarah Lyall – Interior Design Consultant

Sarah’s flare for spatial layouts and interiors is confirmed by her first-class honours degree in interior design. Schemes have included working with listed buildings, interior layouts in new properties, children’s nurseries and car dealerships. Sarah works very closely with Nigel, our in-house estimator, to ensure that her designs remain inside clients’ budget. Sarah remains a caffeine-free person, as she is an extremely keen triathlete, spending the summer weekends running and cycling throughout the southwest.

Will Shields – Operations Director

Will has a vast construction & build knowledge, having served time with one of the building industry’s leading firms. Working closely with the main board of directors, he is the person responsible for all operational activity. His main focus is to ensure that his team delivers on quality, cost and time, while meeting all of our clients’ expectations. Will’s pastimes involve his love of the countryside and rural pursuits, in particular a passion for horses over the sticks.

Aubrey Dredge – Operations Surveyor

Aubrey is the longest-serving member of the operations team, held in high regard by all. His thoroughness, straight talking, keen eye for detail and habit of keeping his finger on the pulse of project finances are always appreciated by his clients. An active member of the team, he keeps himself fit through Tae Kwondo and has been known to enter a Marathon or two.

Kevin Athersuch – Financial Director

Kevin is a qualified chartered management accountant, a member of the Credit Management Institute and an experienced company director and company secretary, with many years’ knowledge of financial management in growing businesses.
Kevin attended Plymouth University and trained with both Plessey and Westland, before a long and successful career on the board of England’s leading independent builders’ merchant group.
As the newest member of the Snibor main board, Kevin has responsibility for all financial matters, together with HR and IT.
Kevin lists his hobbies as photography, watching sport (in particular athletics and football) and football coaching; he’s awaiting the summer months, when he can dust off his bodyboards and wetsuit to enjoy Devon’s Croyde Bay
